Mixed-Signal Capture Cards (XtremeAV / XtremeRGB)
DVI, analogue RGB / VGA, YPbPr, composite, S-Video and SDI capture
XtremeAV and XtremeRGB capture the sources the all-digital cards don't: DVI-I, analogue RGB/VGA and YPbPr, SD composite and S-Video, alongside HDMI and SDI on some models. They are the range for medical imaging suites with older modalities, control rooms, industrial and machine vision equipment, and any project that has to bring modern and legacy sources onto the same PC — from a single DVI/RGB channel (XtremeRGB-Ex1+) up to eight SD channels (XtremeRGB-Ex8) or four DVI-I channels (Xtreme-HD4) on one card.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between XtremeAV and XtremeRGB?
XtremeAV mixes HD and SD capture with audio on one card — for example DVI-I plus composite — and includes the quad DVI-I Xtreme-HD4. XtremeRGB covers DVI and analogue RGB capture (Ex1+, Ex2+), mixed SD plus DVI/RGB (Ex4+), eight-channel SD (Ex8) and dual SDI (SDI2).
Do I need a video wall controller?
No. Each card works in a standard PC with PCIe slots. They can also be fitted in a VSN chassis when the sources feed a video wall.
Which card for 4K60 HDMI, DisplayPort or 3G-SDI?
For current 4K60 digital sources, see the Digital Capture Cards (XtremeDV).
