This is a standard PCIe capture card — it works on its own in any Windows or Linux PC. A VSN wall controller chassis is only needed if you're building a multi-display video wall; most of our capture cards are sold and used as standalone cards in a single workstation.

Product Overview

About This Product

HDMI video and audio capture for small form factor appliances used in medical environments, simulation systems, live events, PC/console capture, lecture capture and real-time streaming. The XtremeLC-HD's LiveStream:Capture architecture processes and delivers captured video in real time to a processor or graphics card, with on-board colour space conversion and scaling natively supporting 32, 24, 16 and 12-bit YUV and RGB formats.

Multiple cards can be added into a single system for multiple capture channels. Tested against Microsoft Media Encoder, VLC, Wirecast, vMix, OBS and other DirectShow-compatible applications.

Applications & Markets

Where This Product Fits

XtremeLC-HD is the standard choice for single-channel HDMI capture in small form factor appliances — lecture capture pods, simulation systems, and compact streaming rigs where a full-size Xtreme card isn't needed. If a second HDMI channel is needed on the same card, step up to XtremeLC-HD2; if the source is SDI, XtremeLC-SDI is the direct equivalent.
