EMS has built video wall hardware for exactly these environments for years, as a UK supplier working directly with system integrators on control room and security suite projects.

Our Xtreme-VSNV3 chassis range is the core of most of these deployments — a full PCIe-based Windows host taking a mix of capture cards (SDI, HDMI, IP/network via Xtreme-ActiveSQX2) and XtremeImage graphics cards for output, managed through VigiControl. For sites already running Milestone or Genetec VMS platforms, VigiControl's Pro+Milestone and Pro+Genetec tiers integrate existing camera feeds directly as wall sources, without a separate capture path.

Where a site needs true UHD (4K) resolution across the wall — increasingly common as camera and sensor resolutions rise — the XtremeImage-4K graphics card delivers full 4K60 4:4:4 output across up to 24 4K displays from a single system.

Smaller or fixed-configuration command rooms that don't need the full flexibility of a PCIe chassis can run on a standalone controller instead — no PC, no software licence, just a fixed box that runs reliably for years.
