About This Product
The VSN1192 is the previous-generation flagship of the VSN family — an 11-slot chassis running dual Intel Xeon E5-2618L v3 processors, still offered alongside the current VSNV3 platform for the highest memory ceiling in the range (up to 128GB) and for continuity on projects standardised on this generation. It supports the same Vision capture, Image graphics and ActiveSQX decode cards as the current range.
This is a 2nd-generation VSN system, not part of the current 12th-generation VSNV3 platform — it runs Windows 10 LTSC only (no Windows 11 support), and if expansion is needed it requires the matching legacy VSN1100X expansion chassis rather than the current VSNV3 Expansion Chassis. For new deployments without a specific reason to standardise on this generation, the current Xtreme-VSNV3 11-Slot is the better default; the VSN1192 remains the right call where its higher memory ceiling or continuity with an existing legacy VSN1192 estate is the actual requirement.

Specify the VSN1192 where its 128GB memory ceiling is a genuine, specified requirement, or where it's extending an existing estate already standardised on this generation. For any new deployment without that specific driver, the current Xtreme-VSNV3 11-Slot is the better default — it runs on the newer 12th-generation platform, supports both Windows 10 and Windows 11, and uses the current VSNV3 Expansion Chassis if the project grows. Confirm which generation an existing site is running before quoting an expansion chassis, since the two ranges use different expansion hardware.
