Supports EMS's full Vision Performance feature set, including single-line capture latency, multiple capture instances per card, hardware timestamping, HDMI signal conditioning for longer cable runs, automatic mode detection, and frame-synchronised ganging of inputs (dual 4K into 8K x 2K). An advanced hardware scaling engine uses polyphase multi-tap filtering for clean downscaling and accurate upscaling. Inputs are accessible via any DirectShow/Media Foundation-compatible application — Dataton Watchout, Panopto, vMix, Wirecast, OBS, VLC and others — with a V4L driver for Linux.
The XtremeDV-UHD2 is the pick when a project genuinely needs true 4K60 4:4:4 image quality from HDMI 2.0 sources — not scaled or subsampled — such as high-end command and control rooms, corporate reception displays, or digital signage where colour accuracy is scrutinised.
