Four Channel 3G-SDI Capture Card
Developed for capturing multiple high-definition SDI video signals, the XtremeDV-SDI4 is the perfect solution for AV professionals capturing from multiple SDI sources. Ideal for broadcast markets or any SDI-capable application, it provides four 3G-SDI inputs each capable of capturing 1920×1080p at 60 frames per second, with a single PCIe endpoint allowing more cards and captures to be placed within a single system.
Each capture channel is hardware timestamped, allowing larger surfaces to be captured and stitched together — useful for building composite video wall images from multiple synchronised SDI feeds. DirectShow WDM streaming driver support covers Microsoft Media Encoder, VLC, VirtualDub and other DirectShow-compatible encoding software.
This is the natural choice for broadcast galleries and live production trucks running multiple SDI camera or router feeds, where four channels per card keeps chassis slot count manageable, and the per-channel hardware timestamping matters for genlocked, stitched-surface video walls. If your sources are HD-SDI single-link only rather than 3G, the older XtremeAV-SDI or XtremeRGB-SDI2 may be a lower-cost fit — the SDI4's advantage is specifically the four-channel density and multi-channel audio support on one card.
