Current-generation 11-slot modular video wall controller
The 11-slot VSNV3 is the choice when a site has outgrown the 5-slot chassis — larger command centres, military installations and broadcast galleries that need more simultaneous capture and graphics channels, or headroom for future expansion, without moving to a fully custom build. It carries the same three processor tiers as the 5-slot chassis — 12th generation Core i9 or i7, or a 10th generation Xeon W-1270E — with the 128GB memory ceiling available on the Xeon configuration for heavier decode/display workloads.
Like the 5-slot chassis, it's built for 24/7 operation with an 800W redundant hot-swap PSU and hot-swappable fans, and can be protected with EMS's spares kit and optional 5-year extended warranty. Where a single 11-slot chassis still isn't enough, the matching VSNV3 expansion chassis lets it scale further without needing a second full controller.
Pick the 11-slot VSNV3 over the 5-slot chassis when the wall needs more simultaneous capture/graphics channels than five slots allow, or when future growth is already anticipated. It suits large command centres and broadcast galleries where the wall may be built out in phases.
If a project specifically needs a 128GB memory ceiling above the Xeon-tier VSNV3, the previous-generation Xtreme-VSN1192 offers that — but for any new deployment, this current-generation 11-slot VSNV3 is the better default given its newer platform and Windows 11 support.
