Standalone multi-display controller — HDMI or DisplayPort input
The Xtreme-FX4 offers infinite creative configurations with EMS's simplest set-up to date, in either an HDMI-input (FX4H) or DisplayPort-input (FX4D) variant, both driving four outputs from a single box. All inputs and outputs support HDCP content, independently programmable via local USB or the on-board network interface. Built for true stand-alone operation, the non-volatile FX4 adapts to input changes by automatically adjusting scale factors.
Suitable for projects of any size — high-bandwidth loop-through lets inputs be daisy-chained to build video walls of the largest scale, and each output monitor can take its input from any region of the source image, with cropping, scaling, rotation and frame-rate conversion handled entirely by the FX4 hardware. Regions can overlap for replication or any creative splice, supporting non-rectangular screen arrangements and mixed monitor orientations. Paired with EMS's free Wall Designer software, even the most creative video walls can be produced with ease.
The Xtreme-FX4 is the standard choice for creative digital signage and event video walls where the source is a straightforward HDMI or DisplayPort feed — retail and hospitality signage, menu boards, and live event screens. Choose FX4H if your source is HDMI, FX4D if it's DisplayPort; both drive the same four-output creative configuration.
If the source needs HDR10/HLG colour depth, step up to the Xtreme-FX4HDR. If the source is SDI rather than HDMI/DisplayPort, the Xtreme-FX4SDI is the correct fit — this model doesn't accept SDI directly.
